Pernelle Elliot
Pernelle was born and raised in Oak River Saskatchewan. She lives with her grandfather and little brother, Alan following the recent death of their grandmother.
When Pernelle — against all odds — gets accepted into the best secondary school in the world, she leaves home to pursue her love for Astronomy and the Universe, an opportunity not generally afforded to working class families in 2054.
Pernelle is smart as a whip, dangerously curious, and impossibly stubborn. She’s also prone to missing social cues.
When she stumbles into evidence of one of the school’s most classified projects, she develops an obsession with their headmistress and a determination to find out more about what the school is working on.
Eva Osaki
Eva was born in Japan and moved to Toronto with her family when she was four.
When she didn’t get into the art school she applied to, Galileo Academy was her next best option. She’s the third Osaki to attend.
Eva is Pernelle’s roommate and best friend at school. She’s creative, loyal, witty, and courageous — but she can be a bit untethered.
